I'm Assistant Professor of Political Science and Kinder Assistant Professor of Constitutional Democracy at the University of Missouri.

I've authored two books. Dwight D. Eisenhower and the Federal Highway Act was published by the University Press of Kansas in 2024. Demagogues in American Politics was published by Oxford University Press in 2022.
